What we’re looking for

At Pulse, we value the diverse voices and perspectives of Toronto’s vibrant Downtown East community, so we invite you to submit your stories, articles, photographs, artwork, and more! Check out the details below.
Content We Want
Here is just some of what we’re looking for:
Community Events
If you’re part of a community organization, feel free to share information about upcoming events, fundraisers, and gatherings in the area. You can learn more about our relationships with community organizations here.
Personal Essays
We believe everybody has a story to tell, so we welcome pieces reflecting on personal experiences, observations, or insights relevant to life in the neighbourhood. Not a writer? No problem. We’d still love to hear from you.
Local News
Put your journalist hat on, and report on local news stories, developments, and issues affecting the community. Whether you’re a seasoned reporter or just stumbled across a major story, reach out to us.
